Job Description
Our client in the Public Sector has a requirement for a Clerical Officer based in Quayside in Sligo. The role would be for 35 hours per week on an initial 6-month contract.
Role and Responsibilities
- Reception – general reception duties (Learner Queries/phone calls/emails/ dealing with people calling into building
- Administration of paperwork for Education Programmes
- General administration duties in Further Education & Training & the strategic areas that are within this remit
- Filing of paperwork
- Use & maintain the in-house ETB systems for learners
- Correspondence with Learners & External Stakeholders
- Processing Invoices
- Additional administration duties as required from line manager/TC Management.
- Liaising with external parties (contractors, suppliers etc as required)
- Provide the Organisation’s customers with an efficient and effective service through face
- Face to face, telephone, and written communication
- Any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested
Personal Profile
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in an administration role
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Excellent Planning and Organisational Skills including using Computer technology effectively
- Excellent MS Office Skills to include Word, Excel and Access
- Adopt a flexible approach in their work
